What’s the latest update on COVID-19?

We are pleased to (finally) be in a position announce that we are now open !

If you are a member or student, please reach find a suitable time in the members booking system.

If you are interested in learning to fly with GFC, whilst we have received an overwhelming amount of interest over the last few months, we do have some limited slots available from Tuesday 27 April 2021 onwards. Although these have been filling up very quickly, we do hope to increase capacity from the week commencing Monday 3 May 2021. If you are not lucky enough to secure a booking, don’t despair – there will be more slots added closer to this date.

Please get in touch if you would like to start your journey with us. Email is currently the most efficient way to start the process.

For holders of flight vouchers, please use the contact form to arrange your experience. These slots are also filling up quickly, so if you can provide a few preferred dates/times you will increase your chance of grabbing a slot first.

We are also pleased to confirm that we have taken the decision once again to extend all affected vouchers that were active during this recent period of restrictions. This means everyone gets a full six month period to use the voucher regardless of lockdowns. If you’re not sure of your expiration date we can confirm this to you. Please include your voucher number when contacting us.

Please be aware that for reasons of safety, only those participating in flights will be permitted within the compound/clubhouse and strict hygiene measures will continue to be in place to limit the risk to our members and guests. Face coverings and gloves will be required for those participating in all flights and social distancing must be practiced at all times whilst in the clubhouse and on the ground.

You will also be required to wear a face covering and to sanitise your hands prior to entering the clubhouse and at various times throughout your visit.

These measures will all be explained to you upon your arrival. All aircraft and equipment will be thoroughly wiped down and cleaned in preparation for the next guest/student.

It is with regret that vouchers with additional passengers can only be accommodated for members of the same household group.

Finally, please do not travel to the club if you have any symptoms of Covid-19. We will be more than happy to book you in for a later date if you are not feeling yourself.
