A fleet of aircraft
We have a full fleet of Piper PA-28 aircraft available for use during training and for self-hire.
Take a look at some of our aircraft
At Glasgow Flying Club, we have a number of aircraft available for training and for self-hire. We’ve chosen the Piper PA-28 range of aircraft for the club. The Piper PA-28 Warrior is our main training aircraft. The aircraft is much more spacious than other light training aircraft, such as the Cessna, for example. This gives our trainees plenty of room to operate flight controls, in relative comfort, so that they can take the time to commit their learning to memory unhindered.
One of the UK’s busiest airports
All of our aircraft are located and operated from our base of operations inside Glasgow International Airport. The airport is open 24/7 meaning that we can fly any time, day or night. We share the same runways as some of the worlds largest commercial airliners, including the iconic Airbus A-380!
Club aircraft are available for self hire, so you too can fly some of the best light aircraft in an engaging and busy air traffic environment!
